When do practices start?
Practices for all teams start on August 4th, 2026.
what days do practices fall?
C & b teams have practice Monday through Thursday during the month of August. flag teams have practices Tuesday through thursday during August. when school starts, c & b teams drop down to tuesday through Thursday, while flag football practices drop down to Tuesdays and Thursdays. flag cheer remains Tuesday through Thursday.
what time is practice?
c & B teams start at 6 p.m. and run until 8 p.m. flag teams start at 6 p.m. and run until 7:30 p.m.
How long do practices typically run?
Practices for c & B teams typically run 2 hours. Flag teams typically run an hour and a half.
Uniforms:
what does my athlete need to have for football?
flag players need a pair of cleats, a mouth guard, and a water bottle. MIDLAKES Junior eagles will provide a mouth guard for athletes who do not have their own mouth guard.
c & b team players need a pair of cleats, a mouth guard, shoulder pads, padded pants, a helmet, and a water bottle. MIDLAKES Junior eagles will provide the shoulder pads, padded pants and helmet. we will also provide a mouth guard for athletes who do not have their own mouth guard.
please note: mouth guards may not have any additional attachments!
what does my athlete need to have for cheer?
all cheer leaders need to have their cheer uniform [shell/top, skirt], a pair of blue shorts, 2 pairs of white, tie sneakers [one for game day, one for competitions], a bow [one for game day, one for competitions], and a water bottle. MIDLAKES Junior eagles will provide the bows and the blue shorts.
